The WorkAdvance Model
WorkAdvance, piloted nationally as close as Northeast Ohio, holistically addresses how individuals get hired into good jobs. For many in our community, finding places that are hiring may be easy. However, there are many barriers that keep our untapped talent from being employable and employed. WorkAdvance provides individualized service to job seekers, from screening to job readiness to training to case management. The model heavily focuses on post-employment career coaching support to encourage individuals to advance in skills and their career, benefitting both the job seekers and their employer.
Training and Development
WorkAdvance gets the untapped talent ready for employment through a two-week training process that includes technical, job-readiness, and safety training.

Job Placement
WorkAdvance enables manufacturers to retain the choice in who they hire. Although we expect partnering manufacturers to, at minimum, interview program trainees, it’s up to the trainees to wow you with their skills and passion to be employed.
